The Last Wurst

Ingredients

  • 1 oz (30 mL) gin
  • 1 oz (30 mL) green Chartreuse
  • 1 oz (30 mL) maraschino liqueur
  • 1/2 oz (15 mL) fresh lime juice
  • 3 dashes of aromatic bitters
  • A lime wedge or cocktail cherries to garnish

Instructions

  • Pour all ingredients except the garnish into a cocktail shaker filled halfway with ice. Shake vigorously, and strain into a coupe glass. Garnish with lime or cherries. Serve with sausage.

Notes

Note: Based on the classic The Last Word, this cocktail cuts back on the lime and adds a few dashes of bitters. For digestion.
