Cultural & Community Collaborations

Working with cultural, educational and community partners, Taste Canada creates programming and experiences that explore food through literature, storytelling, culture, heritage and identity.

Connecting Creators with Communities Across Canada

From museum exhibitions and author panels to intimate public events, Taste Canada creates meaningful opportunities for Canadians to engage with authors, books and the stories that shape our food culture.

These initiatives bring literary works into shared cultural and community spaces, encourage dialogue and connect Canadian creators with new and diverse audiences.

Taste Canada x Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21

Taste Canada collaborated with the Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21 on eat make share: a taste of immigration, a bilingual travelling exhibition exploring how food reflects immigration, culture, identity and belonging. Taste Canada helped bring recipes and stories from Canadian immigrant-authored books into the exhibition, introducing these authors and their work to audiences across the country.
