SUPPORT LOCAL

Savour Ontario is a huge advocate for shopping and eating local. “Supporting local is more important than ever,” says Afrim Pristine, Ontario Cheese Ambassador and Savour Ontario at Home curator. “This is truly a time for collaboration.”

These days are hard for everyone, and local businesses and restaurants are definitely feeling it, too. What can we do to help? Savour Ontario has some tips:

🍽️ Shop local and choose Ontario grown, raised and produced foods when possible.

🍽️ Stay in the know by following @savehospitality.ca on Instagram to learn more about the specific challenges restaurants are facing.

🍽️ Support #onetable, a campaign that shares specific stories of Canadian chefs and restaurants.

🍽️ Follow @CanadaTakeout on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter and take part in #TakeOutDay every Wednesday.

These are small things that will have a great impact on the hospitality industry. We all need to come together and support these small businesses which are so important to, not only the economy, but Canadian culture.
