  • 1 cup 128 g dates
  • 1/3 cup 78 g cacao powder
  • 2 Tbsp 28.3 g coconut oil
  • 1 tsp 5 g vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp 1.25 g Himalayan salt or sea salt
  • 3 Tbsp 45 g water (add more if too dry)

Glaze

  • 2 Tbsp 30 g coconut oil
  • 2 Tbsp 30 g maple syrup
  • 1 tsp 15 g vanilla extract

Topping

  • 1/3 cup 78 g unsweetened shredded coconut flakes

Instructions

  • First, add the oats alone to the food processor and grind.
  • Then, add the walnuts, pecans and hemp seeds and grind some more.
  • Now, add the remaining dough ingredients to the food processor and grind until all ingredients turn into a moist dough/ball. If the dough is too dry you can add another tsp of water until it rolls into a dough.
  • Start to roll the bit balls and lay them out on a piece of parchment paper or a large plate.
  • Put the plate of bit balls in the fridge or freezer while making the glaze 5-10min.
  • To make the glaze, melt the coconut oil on low heat then add maple syrup and the vanilla extract.
  • Turn off the stove and start to whisk until you get a soft caramel like consistency.
  • Put the unsweetened shredded coconut flakes in a bowl.
  • Dip the bit balls in the glaze and then roll them in the coconut topping.
  • You can put them in the fridge in a sealed glass container for up to a week or freeze them
